What is Awkward Cargo?

Awkward cargo is freight that is unusually shaped, oversized, or otherwise difficult to handle with standard equipment. Examples include long pipes, machinery, and out-of-gauge loads. It typically requires flat racks, open-tops, or specialized rigging and commands accessorial charges.
